The V shape blade applies pressure in a very small area and widens as it ratchets down reducing the risk of shattering the pipe. Excellent for piercing poly-pipe and thin wall plastics. Ideal for CPVC pipe and production line work. Slices through Schedule 80 pipes with little effort. With replaceable blades this tool will last a lifetime.
